Moffat County Sheriff’s Office searches for stolen vehicle

The Moffat County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary and a stolen vehicle in the area of Moffat County Road 3 and Moffat County Road 106 Friday morning, according to a news release.

After the report was received, deputies saw the stolen vehicle, which has an unknown Wyoming plate that starts with “6” and described as an older model blue Dodge pickup with a white rack on the back of the truck, states the news release.

The vehicle was last seen near the Cedar Mountain area around 10:30 a.m. The Moffat County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to call dispatch with any information regarding the vehicle.



The suspect is “considered armed” and “dangerous,” states the news release. Do not attempt to contact or follow the suspect.

Residents in the Cedar Mountain area are encouraged to lock their homes and vehicles.
